Carol Chamberlain Yoga

Time on the mat. Time for yourself!

When I spend time on my yoga mat, to breathe to move, to be in stillness. I give myself the Gift of Being.

Yoga is the tool to find balance, emotionally and physically.

I have been practicing yoga for 8 years. The journey has taken me to India, Andulusia, Cornwall, Hampshire, Milton Keynes as well as Sussex.

Where ever you lay your mat you'll find like minded people.

My initial, intensive 200hr Ashtanga yoga teacher training, took me to Goa  where I discovered Yin Yoga.

This journey continued to Andalusia for 100hrs of Yin Yoga to learn about the principles of this mainly floor based practice.

A further trip to Agonda, India reinforced these learnings which I love to share with others.

"Whilst fairly new to this yoga group, I'm really enjoying the relaxed friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to relax and meet new friends. Results speak for themselves and I'm feeling the benefits already" - Julie
"I love my classes with you, whether its Yin or flow Yoga. I always feel so relaxed and my body aches if I miss a week" - Carolyn
"Love Carol’s yoga classes. Specially workshops. It’s like special time for my body and soul. Precious time with lovely people 💕" - Dragana
“Carol has been an inspiration during lockdown and maintaining a yoga practice with such a committed teacher and group of like minded people has been a lifeline. Yoga helps me to remain calm and focussed and stretches the kinks from an otherwise overly tight body.”

I soon learnt that yoga was more than exercise; it also showed me how to manage my mind and switch off from all the demands of everyday life and concentrate on Me.

Carol has a great way of gently taking you on a journey in each class be it Flow Yoga, Yin or Gentle Meditation, always carefully explaining specific poses and also sometimes explaining the origins and their meaning. She has a wealth of Yoga knowledge that she shares through her training in India.
